G.W. Bush on Fighting Terrorists

 

First of all, don‘t mistake me, I’m horrified by the Sept 11, 2001 terror acts that hit the cities of New York and Washington and can only condemn this.

 

My concern, though, is the way to respond to them.

C‘mon, when you catch the malaria, you won’t chase the mosquito that bit you!

Instead you‘d better try to find out where it came from, why it was there, and how to dry out its environment to suffocate it.

Same for terrorists: find them, understand why they’re hateful, cut the grass under their feet.

But can imbeciles think about that?
